Released in 2008 Bandai America as a chase figure within the Power Rangers Jungle Fury 6″ series. Sporting a very nice color palette and show accurate design, the White Ranger has never looked so good. He comes with his trust talking sword Saba. His articulation is limited but you get enough for descent posing. He’s tough to find these and your best bet will most likely be online auction sites like eBay.
The Blue Buster joins Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts Go-Busters action figure series. Blue uses the same body mold as the Red Buster with a new head mold and blue color palette. He includes extra hands, sougan blade, ichigan buster, and the special ichigan buster. This is a Tamashii Web exclusive so expect to pay more than your typical S.H. Figuarts action figure. Goes for about $75 (eBay, cstoysjapan.com).
Due to the crazy December month I’ve been having, I don’t have time do a video review for Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts Jetman Black Condor. It’s 90% the same as the Red Hawk figure so here’s a quick photo review.
Standing 5.5 inches tall, the figure is sculpted to perfection and matches the live-action suit design.
He shares the same body mold and accessory package as the previous released Red Hawk figure but with an entirely new helmet sculpt.
He includes a variety of different types of gesture hands and weapons.
Like Red Hawk, you can mount optional wings for flight.
This is definitely a top notch figure from Bandai and worth of any fan of Super Sentai. Priced at $45 (amazon, eBay, bigbadtoystore).
Apparently I missed a Red Ranger in Bandai’s Power Rangers Samurai 4″ action figure series. This one is the Super Mega Red Ranger.
This is pretty much the armored version of the Super Red Ranger.
The figure uses a new chest mold and a new sculpted sword. Every other body part is reused from the previous Mega Red Ranger.
The only versions I’m missing are Shark Mode and Mega Shark Mode.
This turned better than I thought. If you’re a fan of Power Rangers Samurai this figure is worth getting.
Enter Yellow Buster (Yoko Usami), the 2nd of the Go-Busters team to join Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line. This figure stands about 5.5″ tall and features a TV accurate design. With multiple points of articulation, Yoko can strike any kind of pose you want her in. Features extras hands, sougan blade, ichigan buster, and the special ichigan buster. Also packaged with her is buddyloid Usada Lettuce. This impressive rabbit-like robot has a slick metallic paint job, a few articulation points and moveable wheels. This is a Premium Bandai Exclusive meaning a limited number were released. Expect to pay in the $85 range early in her release cycle (11/2012). Price will only fluctuate as time goes on so get her fast (eBay, cstoysjapan, bigbadtoystore).

So excited. Got my Bandai S.H. Figuarts Go-Busters Red Buster order from CS Toys Intentional today after 5 days from placing my order. It’s an amazing looking action figure which includes extra hands, 2 versions of the Ichigan Buster, and Sougan Blade. Highly poseable, made of top quality plastic and sculpted to perfection.
Some of you out there may know this already but it’s worth mentioning. Some 1st Editions releases of Tamashii Nations figures which include S.H. Figuarts, D-Arts, Ultra-Act, Monster Arts, etc. sometimes include free bonus parts. A couple of examples include Gokai Red & Ultraman Gaia V2. Gokai Red include the Steering Wheel for the Gokai-Oh while Ultraman Gaia V2 include debris effect parts. These extras usually come in separate packaging of their own. Another thing to note is these 1st edition bonus releases are only available in Japan and Hong Kong. That there lies the problem for US releases. That kind of separate packaging wouldn’t work when distributed in the US through Blue Fin – the official US company bringing over Tamashii Nation figures. A new kind of packaging would have to be made to contain everything in one which I highly doubt would ever come to pass unless Bandai knew they could sell enough of them to justify the cost.
With newly released Jetman Red Hawk in Japan, things are a bit different. The Japanese release of this figure will include the bonus Akibaranger Jetwinger which is actually packaged with the figure rather than separately. Thanks to cstoysjapan’s recent video review, the US release won’t get this part. I was shocked. The only reason I could think of the Jetwinger being taken out is it would confuse the US buyer who probably has no clue about the Akibaranger release. I already pre-ordered the figure and found myself quickly calling my source to cancel my order. Thanks to the convenience of the internet I quickly ordered the overseas version which arrived today. Bandai’s HD Sentai Alpha trading figures returns with the 2012 Super Sentai team: Go-Busters. The 1st wave features Red, Blue, Yellow Busters, along with Cheeda Nick, these figures are amazing. Based off body scans of the real suit actors, the sculpting is super impressive. Each figure comes is a fixed pose, average about 4 inches tall and includes a build-a-part to form Usada Lettuce. A set of these figures goes for about $35 (eBay).
One of the Bandai’s best trading figures lines is the Sentai Alpha series. They are equal in scale with Star Wars action figures and are sculpted based off real scans of the Go-Busters suit actors. They are super detailed with top notch sculpting and fine paint application. There 4 figures in the first wave and sell for about $10 each: Red, Blue, Yellow Busters & Cheeda Nick. What’s cool about this first wave is that each figure contains a build-a-figure part for Usada. Unfortunately, I learned about this cool build-a-figure feature after I received my order of just the Go-Buster figures. Need to order Cheeda Nick.
