With Spidey now part of the MCU, Bandai decided to add Marvel’s top guy to their S.H. Figuarts action figure series with his Stark tech suit from the Spider-Man Homecoming movie. Standing near 6 inches, this Spidey sports a movie accurate design with an amazing articulation system. Complimented with extra hands, alternate eyes, cell phone, weblines, and backpack, this Spidey has so many posing options to mess around with. Price at about $65.
Medicom’s third multi-poseable action is Marvel’s friendly neighborhood wallcrawler Spider-Man. Based off his design from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie, he’s scales just over 6 inches tall, features awesome sculpting and paint app work complimented by a phenomenal articulation system that allows for almost any type of Spidey pose you can think of. Marvel Select releases their Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie Action Figure. Standing at 7 inches tall, this Spidey features very nice sculpting and paint apps along with a pretty impressive articulation system. He’s loaded with extra accessories: extra hands, web effect parts, and even Fireman accessories. Priced at about $25 (Amazon).
Spider-Girl swings into Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Infinite series. Standing 5.5 inches tall, featuring a young teen physique, and wide range of articulation. This is definitely a must have. Priced at about $20 (target, toysrus).
I’ve never owned a LEGO anything in my life. I had friends who owned sets during the years but I never had a true hankering to own them myself. I recently, out curiosity really, watched the LEGO Marvel Superhero Movie on Netflix and I loved it. It was well animated, voiced over nicely, and super entertaining. I don’t want to own playsets or vehicles but I wouldn’t be against owning a few mini-figures of my favorite super heroes. Got a few off eBay…just need to track down a Captain American and Iron Man.
